Aegean Airlines is a regional Greek airline was started in 1987. It is the second largest Greek airline in Athens. Aegean Airlines was establishing Aegean Aviation by Antonis and Nikolaos Simigdalas in 1987. It has on many occasions received awards for its success and fairness from the European Regional Airlines Association (ERA), including the ‘Gold Award 2004/05’, the ‘Silver Award 2005/06’ as well as the ‘Bronze Award 2000/01’. In November 2005, the airline has been in partnership with Lufthansa due to the cooperation both airlines offer their passengers code-share flights, convenient transfer and many other benefits. In 2006 Aegean Airlines and TAP Portugal agree co-operation agreement. It has 1,609 employees.

FLEET:
