Caribbean Airlines is an airline of Trinidad and Tobago. The airline is the successor of BWIA West Indies Airways and the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago. Caribbean Airlines head quarters are based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Its main base is Piarco International Airport, Trinidad.





Caribbean Airlines was established in September 2006. The airline commenced its operation and started in January 2007 and BWIA West Indies Airways handled the route. The airline is fully owned by the subsidiary in the United Kingdom, named Caribbean Airlines (UK) Ltd. It was setup in October 2006. Caribbean Airlines is based in Trinidad and is 100% owned by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
