Uganda Airlines is a defunct Ugandan national flag carrier. Uganda Airlines ceased its all flight operations in May 2001. The airline served its flights to Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Egypt, United Kingdom, and UAE. Its main hub was Entebbe International Airport. Uganda Airlines started its first
cargo service in late 1970s. Its first passenger flights started in the early 1980s. After that the airline started operating both passenger and cargo flights from Dubai in 1995, August. Charter services can be arranged on request. In October 1988, the only aircraft Boeing 707 of Uganda Airlines crashed near Rome. 31 of the 52 people aboard were killed.
