Air France-KLM's cargo unit will report a EUR€499 million euro (USD$633.9 million) annual operating loss on Wednesday, French newspaper Le Figaro reported, citing anonymous sources.

The article said the figure would account for more than a third of the Franco-Dutch airline's total annual operating loss, which is expected to come in at around EUR€1.3 billion.

A spokeswoman for Air France-KLM declined to comment on the article.

The airline is due to report 2009/10 annual results on Wednesday. It has said it expects a fourth-quarter operating loss at a similar level to the same period last year, when it lost EUR€574 million.
