Air Saguenay was founded by Peter Schoch in early 1960s as Saguenay Air Services with its base at Kenogami Lake. Later the airline was renamed to Air Saguenay in mid 1970s. Besides air flight services, it also operates turn key projects as Aircrafts Maintenance Organization.
