It was the regional airline of Italy. The airline was established in June 1987 with intentions to promote commercial developments of Aosta airport. Air Vallee had its main base in Saint-Christophe, Italy, near Aosta. It operated scheduled flights to many domestic destinations in Italy along with charter flight services. Air Vallée also used to provide international flights to various destinations in Europe.
Air Vallée suspended all its scheduled flight services in June 2016.
