It was the regional airline of People's Republic of China. The airline was founded in 1992 and started flights operations in 1993 as a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines. China Xinhua Airlines had its main base in Beijing, China. It used to provide scheduled passenger flights to several domestic destinations in the country. China Xinhua Airlines also operated excellent charter flight services on demand. The airline also launched its first international flights route from china to Singapore.
China Xinhua Airlines merged with Shanxi Airlines and Chang’an Airlines on Nov 29, 2007 to form Grand China Air.
