Coast Air was fourth largest
regional airline of Norway. The
airline was established in 1988 after the closure of Coast Aero Center. In the beginning, Coast Air started operating between Fornebu and Flesland with a single Twin Otter aircraft. By 2000, Coast Air added several regional routes along with many international destinations due to the direct competition with larger airlines. Coast Air provided scheduled passenger flights to various domestic destinations within Norway. Coast Air also operated
international flights to many destinations along the West Coast.
In 2008, Coast Air suspended all flights operations probably due to the bankruptcy.
