Glasgow experiences Oceanic climate despite its northerly latitude. Most of the time weather is unpredictable in the city, may be due to the Gulf Stream Drift. Summers are hot with sunny days in Glasgow. During the months of May to September in summers some times the climate becomes mild and wet. The average high temperature in summers especially in the month of July remains around 20 °C (68 °F).

Winters are damp and cold with chilly winds. Snowfall is common but rare in the center city. The rainfall is relatively heavy in the months of October to January in Glasgow.
