SkyEurope Airlines was a low cost airline of
Europe with its main base in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was the first airline in Europe with more than one main base in Slovakia, Austria, and Czech Republic.
SkyEurope Airlines provided passenger flight services to several domestic as well as
international destinations. It also operated private charter flight services. Skytrax declared SkyEurope as the best low cost airline in Eastern Europe and third best in Europe.
SkyEurope was founded in 2001 and started flight service in 2002.
SkyEurope cancelled all its flights on 31 August 2009 and stopped all its operations.
