It was regional and domestic airline of Austria with its base at Innsbruck, Austria. Later famous with the name Tyrolean Airways, Austrian Arrows provided air flight services to many domestic as well as international flights destinations in Asia, Europe and Africa.
Established in 1978, Austrian Arrows initially had the name Tyrolean Airways with Austrian Airlines as its parent airline. Austrian Arrows had employee strength of about 1599 staff.
In March 2015, Tyrolean was merged into Austrian Airlines following some new labour agreement.
