CSA was the airline of Scotland with its main base in Aberdeen, Scotland. City Star Airlines was established in March 2005. It started with scheduled flights operations by connecting Aberdeen and Oslo. In 2008, City Star Airlines was planning to announce international flights with business class from Aberdeen to Houston in Texas. But later this statement was proved a mistake as the aircrafts didn't have sufficient range for those routes.
City Star Airlines provided scheduled passenger flights under the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) of Landsflug in Iceland. The airline was famous for its air transport scheduled services between various energy centers in Scotland and Norway.
In January 2008, City Star Airlines ceased all its flights operations till further notice.
