Midwest Airlines is one of the major regional and domestic airlines of America with its base at Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Previously the airline was famous by the name Midwest Express. Founded in 1948 by the name K-C Aviation. The name Midwest Express was given in 1984. The airline started adding McDonnell Douglas MD-80 aircrafts in 1990. Skyway Airlines was also started as domestic and regional subsidiary of Midwest Express. In 2002, again the name was changed to Midwest Airlines.
